Indian Wedding
Indian weddings are traditionally multi-day affairs, and involve many intricate ceremonies, such as the painting of the hands and feet of the bride called a mehndi. Garlands are presented to guests of honour instead of corsages (or on each other as an exchange), and lots of flower or rose petals are thrown for good luck.
When planning these weddings, I often seek out the parts of the wedding ritual that are important to couple. Often this includes a fire, which have blessings sent into, or the couple may circle around with various blessings being read, or even a game where the couple tries to beat each other back to their seats.
